I have a 2 year old who changes his mind constantly. What happens if one day he wants to wear his magic band, then decides he doesn't want to wear it, and again decides he wants to wear it?

Hi Melissa and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Have comfort in knowing that you are not alone when it comes to dealing with temperamental toddlers!

I have a two-year-old too and she can be a handful, especially when it’s nap time! I wouldn’t worry very much about your toddler wanting to take of his MagicBand. Right now, he doesn’t need a valid park ticket to enter the park, so a MagicBand for him is included with the rest of your party basically so that he can feel like a big boy!

The other adults and children over of the age of three in your group will have to use their MagicBands for park entry and FastPass+ check-ins. (If you have older children in your group who also like to take off their bands, you can just put them away in a purse or back pack for safe keeping.)

I encourage you to use any of the Baby Care Centers as you explore any of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Many times, I have taken my little ones there for diaper changes or have used their high-chairs and toddler sized tables for snack time. It's a quiet and air-conditioned space designed with little ones in mind.

Melissa, as you continue making your plans, be sure to take a look at Planning Tips for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones. You’ll find lots of great ideas to keep your little one entertained while enjoying everything the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.
