Hi it will be me & 13year old boy/girl twins. Booked in at CBR not sure re space in room & dining. We have QSDP, staying 15 nights. ?better to pay more & move to Art of animation suite to have more space&open dining&less walking?

    Hello Roz!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I think it depends what you value most in a vacation. I like having extra space, and my kids love having their own beds when possible. However, my children don't eat a lot, so we would spend the money on a Family Suite versus the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. I often split meals with my kids or with my husband, because a lot of the portion sizes are big. If you find yourself spending a lot of money on food, then I would recommend the Disney Dining Plan.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is one of my favorite hotels, and the Family Suites have 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette, so having breakfast in the room would also save money. With your children being teens, would they like the theme of the rooms - Cars, Lion King, or Finding Nemo? I adore them, but I'm a big kid at heart.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is gorgeous and has a more tropical feel, but it is spread out. It is currently undergoing renovations, so will you be arriving soon? There will be some walking involved if you're not close to the main building.

Have you considered a split stay? Sometimes my family and I will split our vacation at two different Walt Disney World Resort hotels to feel like we're getting two different vacations. Bell Services can transfer your luggage from one Disney Resort hotel to another.

Good luck with your decision, and have a magical vacation!
