My 7 year old boy and 4 year old girl will be visiting for the first time 2-7/2-11. We have a pass to all parks. We don't want to miss anything but don't want to be too structured either. Any suggestions on how we can make the most of our trip?

    Hey Jen!

I'm totally with you on keeping a vacation loose and not too structured! It's easy to get worried and over schedule when you're looking at a Disney World vacation. A lot of people do just that, but my family is more loosey Goosey!

The one structured thing we do is decide if there are any Character Meals or restaurants that we are desperate to try and make reservations for those. We only make one reservation per day instead of every meal so we aren't rushing around trying to get to those!

Other than the one daily (usually dinner) reservation we decide which park to hit when we arrive in Disney and pick up the "Times Guides" in the hotel that tell us when the parades and shows happen.

DisneyWorld.com has a fun feature under the 'Maps' tab where you can create customized maps and have it mailed to you! My kids like to look at this and highlight which attractions they really want to see in Disney. This can help you plan how your day might go on vacation with out pinning you down too much!

    Have a great time!
