Would my 10 year old boy like the Pirates & Pals voyage or is it a little juvenile for him? Sounds neat, but I'm not sure if he's too old....he's getting to that age where he's "soooo cool" :-)

    Hi there, Mindy!

So, a confession: I am (slightly) older than ten - but only just! - and I absolutely love Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage -- as does everyone I've "quizzed" about their experience. On your voyage, you'll see children of all ages, families, grownups alone, and yes - even some piratical retirees! It's definitely an activity that appeals across the ages.

You'll start with great snacks and a private meet and greet with Captain Hook and his first mate, Mister Smee. Then a boat ride into the Seven Seas Lagoon to watch the beautiful Wishes fireworks, and, if it's running that night, the Electric Water Pageant.

All the while, you're having jokes and songs and Disney trivia contests led by an incredible pirate host, who makes sure to keep the night funny for the entire family; it's definitely not scaled only to little ones.

And at the dock at the end? Another special surprise meet and greet!

While your boy might be in the "too cool for school" phase, it's hard not to grin at some of the antics of your pirate host. And likely he'll be excited at how special the night is - maybe even so excited that he forgets that he's supposed to maintain that air of sophistication! ;)

It's a fabulous night. And you can book yours up to 180 days in advance of your desired date by calling (407) WDW-PLAY.

    Wishing you fair seas!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
