My 3 year old is a big Mickey Mouse fan. I am trying to plan a surprise trip to Disney for her and her little brother. Any suggestions. I am so lost. I don't know where to begin. Have to be able to introduce her to her boyfriend (Mickey Mouse). Help!

    Hi Jeannette!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

What a lovely surprise - a trip to Walt Disney World and the opportunity to meet Mickey Mouse!!  I am so excited for your children!!

I would thoroughly recommend two ways of meeting Mickey.  The first is a character 'meet and greet' at the Town Square Theater in the Magic Kingdom.  You will meet Mickey (and usually Minne, too) for photographs inside the theatre.  There will be a Photopass photographer there, and you are welcome to take your own photos too.  We always have a special photo with Mickey on every trip, I love this! Pick up a Times Guide as you enter the park for up-to-date details of character appearances and shows.

Secondly, I would suggest making a dining reservation for Chef Mickey's.  This is another chance to meet the lovely Mickey, and usually Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald.  They will each visit your table whilst you are eating, giving you time for autographs and photographs.  I am sure your children will love this!  Reservations can be made online, or by calling (407) 939 3463.

If you have any more questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
