Hello Amy!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a very good question. I have to admit that sometimes my 9-year-old daughter orders certain items from the kids’ menu and I simply cannot help myself, I have to sneak a taste from her plate!
Please note that some restaurants may allow adults to order from the kids' menu and even request larger portions, but you have to keep in mind that an adult credit costs more than a child credit, and I think that you should try to make the most of your
Disney Dining Plan. Since the Guests in your party seem to have different tastes, I recommend redeeming your dining plan meals at all-you-care-to-enjoy buffets. I find that this is an excellent option for families with great appetites and picky eaters because it gives everybody the chance to explore different offerings, including the kids’ menu items.
Here are some of my favorite buffets at the Walt Disney World Resort that currently accept Disney Dining Plan entitlements:
The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom Park,
Garden Grill Restaurant,
Biergarten Restaurant and
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at EPCOT,
Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios,
Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park,
Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort,
1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Boma – Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and finally
‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Please note that participating locations are subject to change without notice.
I hope this helps you while planning, Amy! Please stop by once again real soon as you plan your holiday.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
