I have a 14 year old anda 12 year old! This is there 1st timeat Disney and my 4th. If the park hopper worth the extra money? I just dont want to be crazy busy trying to use it to make it worth our while. We will be there 4 and a half days!

Hello Bridget! I'm so glad you asked this question!

For us, the Park Hopper option is always worth the extra cost.  We love to start out our mornings early in one park, then return to the hotel in the afternoon for a nap/swim break, and return to a different park in the evening.  This is especially great when we want to see fireworks or Fantastmic!, but have to return on a different day then when we're planning on spending the morning and afternoon at the park.

The best feature about the Park Hopper option is that the cost is the same, whether you have 2-day tickets or 10-day tickets!  And, it can be added at any time during your vacation.  So, you can start out without the option and simply add it during your vacation if you decide you want to start park hopping.  Simply take your park tickets to a ticket window or Guest Relations office at any of the theme parks or Downtown Disney and ask to have the Park Hopper option added.  Simple as that!

I hope you and your teens have a fabulously magical time at Walt Disney World!  Please come back and ask some more questions if there's anything else you want to know!
