Hi there, Jennifer!
The very best part about taking children under the age of 3 on a Walt Disney World vacation is that there is no charge for meals or Park tickets! It's really fabulous!
If you are dining at one of the Table Service locations that is not an
all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet where the little one can just get her own plate, you can order a kids' meal off of the menu. In my experience, each restaurant handles this situation differently. I have, in the past, been able to order a meal for a toddler and not get charged for it. This is not typically the case though. The allotments on your
Disney Dining Plan is going to be tricky and it's also up to each location.
My best advice is to just talk with your server and explain the situation. I'm quite certain that they will be able to come up with something that will work for you both.
I hope this helps! Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel, and please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have.
Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
