My 3 year old is afraid of the automatic flush toilets in addition to the loud noises it makes when flushing. Are there any manual flush toilets at Magic Kingdom?

    Hello Jennifer!

I can totally relate to this problem.  We visited Walt Disney World when my oldest was in the middle of potty training and she was scared of the automatic flush toilets.  The vast majority of toilets in the parks will be automatic flush. The Baby Care Centers in each of the four theme parks have smaller potties for little ones, and some of those are manual flush.  The only problem is, you'll most likely have to backtrack across the park to get to the Baby Care Center, and that can be difficult with a child that needs to go.

One little trick I learned was to carry sticky notes with me (I tossed them in my purse or book bag).  Stick the note over the sensor and it will prevent the toilet from flushing automatically.  I would wait until my child was out of the stall before removing the sticky note and flushing the toilet.  It sounds silly, but it worked like a charm!

I hope this helps, Jennifer!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I love taking my little ones to Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
