Hi there, Kevin. Thank you for reaching out to planDisney!
One of the things I absolutely love about the Walt Disney World Resort is that they are always pushing the limits of technology to make things easier for Guests. The
Disney MagicMobile Service is just another example of their ingenuity at work! With this service, you can easily enter the theme parks, connect
Disney PhotoPass images to your account, scan to enter
virtual queue attractions, and charge food or merchandise back to your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel.
I have some good news for you, Kevin! Even though your 12-year-old is unable to manage her own
My Disney Experience account, that doesn't mean she can't use the MagicMobile Service. She absolutely can! Here are the steps you'd need to follow to get this set up for her:
- Open the My Disney Experience mobile app and tap the three lines in the bottom-righthand corner. Select "Disney MagicMobile."
- On the Disney MagicMobile screen, tap the blue "+" icon in the top-righthand corner. Select your child's name and tap "Add to Apple Wallet." Then, tap "Add" to create the pass and add it to your digital wallet.
- Now that the pass has been created, on the main Disney MagicMobile screen, tap "Select Passes to Share."
- Select her pass and tap "Share via Messages."
- Follow the instructions and you will be able to send it via Messages.
If for some reason things don't go as planned, you can always
reach out to a friendly Cast Member. Just like us here at planDisney, they are always happy to help!
Kevin, I hope you have a great vacation! Be sure to look into all of the magical features of the My Disney Experience mobile app to help enhance your trip. You can use
Disney Genie to help customize your itinerary and make real-time suggestions. You can also use the app to purchase
Disney Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lanes to skip the queues of many attractions across all four parks! I find this especially useful for
Avatar Flight of Passage in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Rise to the challenge,
Matt
