Hey there, Birgit! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question. I love chatting Disney with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member!
Don't you just love the magic of a DVC Membership?! Knowing that your next magical adventure is always just around the riverbend and always having a running countdown to a Disney vacation is priceless. But as magical as it is, with Use Years, booking windows and expiration dates, it can be just as confusing. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" I'm thrilled to help you plan your vacation to the fabulous
Disney's Beach Club Villas next year!
Since you have a March Use Year, your current 2022 Vacation Points will expire on February 28, 2023. That means that unless you bank your Points, your travel would have to be complete by that expiration date. So, if you'd like to use your 2022 Points for your vacation to Disney's Beach Club Villas in April 2023 (within your 2023 Use Year), you will need to bank your 2022 Points into your 2023 Use Year. You can bank up to 100 percent of your 2022 Vacation Points online by logging in to
the DVC website, hovering over the "My DVC" tab and then clicking "
Bank My Vacation Points." Just keep in mind that banking is a final transaction and cannot be reversed. Happy banking and booking!
Just as a reminder, for a vacation in April 2023, your booking window for your Home Resort opened in May of this year. If Beach Club Villas is not your Home Resort, your booking window will open in September 2022. I recommend having your Points already banked and being logged into your DVC account and ready to book as soon as your booking window opens at 8:00 a.m. EST sharp. I'll be wishing upon a star that you book the vacation of your dreams!
I hope this was helpful, Birgit, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop by with any vacation planning or DVC questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
