Hiya, Jennifer!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! Jennifer, don't you just love the flexibility of Disney Vacation Club? It opens you up to a whole new world of possibilities making vacations possible to the great wide somewhere that may not have been without Disney Vacation Club. Our family has used our Membership to travel to Austria, Colorado, and California using the exchange program.
Jennifer, currently, Disney Vacation Club is using
Interval International for worldwide exchanges. If you have an
existing reservation through RCI, that reservation is still being honored. But for any future bookings, this is all done through Interval International.
For Interval International worldwide and hotel exchanges, the
following Reservation Windows apply: - Interval Vacation Exchanges (seven consecutive nights, except for exchanges in Japan): Reservations can be made up to two years before check-in date until one day before check-in date.
- Interval ShortStay Exchanges (one to six nights): Reservations can be made up to one year before check-in date and close one day before check-in date.
- Interval Getaways (seven nights): Reservations can be made up to 18 months before check-in date and up to one day before check-in date.
- Interval ShortStay Getaways (one to 6 nights): Reservations can be made up to 6 months before check-in date and up to one day before check-in date.
- Hotel Exchange (one to 28 nights): Reservations can be made up to one year before check-in date and close three days before check-in date.
One thing to note is that you MUST make your reservation at least four months before the end of your
Use Year if you are planning a Worldwide Stay
during that Use Year. With that in mind, you should be able to go ahead and make your reservation for an Interval International Stay now for a June 1 stay.
To do that, you may want to first peruse the Interval International page on the
Disney Vacation Club site. To do that, log into your Disney Vacation Club account. Visit the tab that says "Destinations" and then click on the tab that says "Worldwide Stays" which will bring you to the Interval International site. Once you have had a chance to find a dazzling place you never knew, give
Member Services a call who can help you magically turn your Disney Vacation Points into Reservation Points, check availability, and make that booking for you.
I hope this helps you, Jennifer! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back and see me here. I'll be happy to help you because you ain't never had a friend like me!
Magically Yours,
Keri
