This year we decided to do a USO trip but still doing 1 character dining at 1900 park fare. No DW tix this year. Can we just drive to the grand floridian? Thanks!!

    Hello Eva,

I wouldn't want to pass up a chance to dine at 1900 Park Fare either.  The food is terrific, and no matter what meal it is, you're guaranteed to have a really fun time with the characters.  My kids really love dining there...and they are 18 and 15 years old!

You can definitely drive and park at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa even if you aren't a resort guest. You'll check in with the security guard when you drive in.  They'll ask you for your name and identification.

Enjoy yourself and take a little time to explore the resort.  It's absolutely gorgeous!  Have a magical day.

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
