This year we are coming in Oct and hope to go to MNSSHP. I've never been to this event and the more I read about it the more I wonder should I limit this to one night or would it be better going 2 nights? We don't want to miss anything. Thanks!

Hi Donna! We are faithful guests at Disney's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party every year. It is indeed lots of fun seeing all the great costumes and riding some of the attractions when it's not so crowded. We are sad that this year we cannot all dress in costume as a group as only children 14 and under will be allowed. But I am sure we will still attend.

Since this is an extra ticket event I think you can easily enjoy this party once and save your money to do something else during your vacation. With the special event ticket you will purchase you can enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm so you can plan on an early dinner. The party has an official start date of 7pm when all other guests will be expected to be out of the park or leaving. The attractions become less crowded so you can do quite a bit without long lines. As you are walking from attraction to attraction you can hit the many trick or treat spots. The Halloween parade is a MUST as in my opinion it is one of Disney's best. Consider viewing the later parade as it is less crowded. The HalloWishes fireworks are also a must and can be seen in many locations.

It can be a long night but you can certainly enjoy this once and see it all. If you chose to buy two nights of tickets you might find you don't enjoy the second as much since you have seen the parade and fireworks. There is so much to see and do while at Walt Disney World so I would venture out and try something else for that second night.
