Yeah! We just got our magic bands for our trip in May. Woo-hoo! My family of 5 is staying at the Yacht Club and going to Hoop Dee Doo. Best way to get back and forth? Thinking of taking a taxi there, how do we get back to the Yacht Club after the 8:30 HDD?

    Hi Margaret,

Your vacation is just around the corner! I know you'll LOVE the formal elegance and nautical decor at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. It is one of my family's favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels.

The easiest, fastest and most convenient way to get to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue would be via taxi to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Once you arrive there, use the internal bus system at the resort to get to Pioneer Hall, which is where the dinner show takes place. If you would rather go via the more scenic route, first take a bus going to Magic Kingdom Park. Once you reach this destination, head down to the dock and board the Walt Disney World® Water Transportation launch going to The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. If you opt for this latter option, give yourself at least 1.5 hours head start.

The boat dock at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is only a short walk from Pioneer Hall. Since your reservation is for 8:30 p.m., you may wish to inquire when the last water taxi of the evening will be departing from the dock going back to Magic Kingdom. If you miss the last boat, don't worry! The resort buses will be running one hour after park closing, and you will be able to take a bus to the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there take another bus back to Disney's Yacht Club Resort. So you may wish to plan accordingly.

Wishing you a most unforgettable vacation!
