Yea! We have been blessed again with a Disney World trip in January 2013! Last year we stayed at POP Century, but this year we are staying longer and will be at Disney's All-Star Music resort. Are they similar? Will we be just as pleased?

    Hi, Tweety!

Congratulations on planning another trip to Walt Disney World! You must be so excited!

While Disney's Pop Century Resort is a fun, brightly-themed property which Guests really love, it's a much larger complex than Disney's All-Star Music Resort. For me, this means that while All-Star Music incorporates that same Disney Magic throughout the property that you've come to love, the entire complex feels a bit cozier and easier to navigate than some other locations.

When I travel with my senior class to WDW, we stay at All-Star Music because it's fun, unique theming is just perfect for our budgets. You'll find the main, guitar-shaped Calypso Pool a very convenient place to relax or recharge, as it is located right next to Intermission Food Court, Maestro Mickey's shop and Noteable Arcade, all of which are located in Melody Hall. The Resort Buses stop right in front of Melody Hall, too, so just about anything Guests may need are all located in one convenient area. Plus, the additional Piano Pool gives Guests a second area to relax should they want something a little cozier.  We love it!

Take a look at the map of the resort on WDW's website, and you'll see how great the layout of Disney's All-Star Music really is. Note that all WDW Value Resorts now have mini-refrigerators in-room, so pack accordingly!

Send more questions as you think of them, Tweety; I love to help!
