Ahoy, Marzia! Welcome to planDisney and the first step toward setting sail on your very own Disney Cruise Line adventure!
Here at planDisney, we help ensure that your vacation is smooth sailing by answering any specific questions that may come up during the planning process. The planDisney panel is made up of regular guests, just like you, who are here to provide advice based on our own past Disney experiences. Since we are not travel agents, we cannot help you book or plan your entire cruise. However, I am happy to recommend a few places to start!
If you are just starting to look into the benefits of sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line, I suggest first exploring the sections of the website called
“Why Cruise with Disney” and
“What’s Included.” There really is something for everyone onboard and you can read about the unique offerings for families, adults, kids, and even the teens and tweens. Then learn about “The Disney Difference” and how Disney Cruise Line allows you to immerse yourself in the legendary storytelling that only Disney can create, truly making these ships the place where magic meets the sea. Whether you are participating in exclusive character meet-and-greets, enjoying the incredible lineup of Broadway-caliber stage productions inspired by Disney classics, grabbing popcorn to watch one of the latest Pixar or Marvel movie releases, or looking up as the Disney Cruise Line exclusive fireworks at sea light up the night sky, it will definitely be a vacation to remember.
There are so many different itineraries and ports of call to consider, so I know that it can be a bit overwhelming at first. But I see that you are reaching out from the great state of Texas, so I would suggest starting with a look at the sailings from the port in
Galveston. Just click on the
“Plan a Cruise” tab at the top of the main website and then click on the third white box labeled "Departing from" and select your home port. You will then be able to see all of the cruises sailing from there by itinerary and sailing date.
If you decide that you need more assistance, you can always look for a local travel agent in your area or reach out to Disney Cruise Line directly by calling (800) 951-3532. Cast members are available to help Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM Eastern time, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern time.
Once you get your sea legs a bit, you can always come back here to planDisney for any other specific planning questions that may arise. I’m so excited that you are looking to book a Disney cruise and hope this gives you a bit of a starting point. Happy sailing!
