Hi Oyuki,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! Doing your gender reveal at Disneyland is so special. Make it pink! No, make it blue! Whatever it is, we are so happy for you! I’m all for leading the next generation of Mousketeers, and it’s never too early to start the love for Disney.
Disneyland does not coordinate gender reveals in the park, but I’ve seen some really creative ideas from people. You could ask the Cast Member to help you with making a secret selection. You could choose two items, like a Mickey or Minnie plushie, and have the Cast Member put the correct item in a bag. Then you can choose a spot in the park to open your bag, like the Snow White wishing well on the east side of the castle or at a character meet and greet with Mickey or
Minnie.
You could also do your reveal with personalized ears. You could get the traditional
Mouseketeer hat embroidered at the Mad Hatter on
Main Street or in
Fantasyland to say, “It’s a …” with the results written out in pink or blue lettering. You could also get hand-painted
Mickey ears at
Plaza Point. A Cast Member can add the month and year of your baby’s due date on one ear and “It’s a …” on the other ear.
Oyuki, I hope this helps you plan out your big reveal! If you can, catch a
Disney PhotoPass photographer to capture the moment for you so you can be fully present. I’ve seen people do cute photo shoots with the classic Mickey balloons or cotton candy in pink and blue. If you have any other questions or need help planning, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists—we’d be happy to share our insights.
