Hello, David. Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question.
From time to time policies and procedures get updated for the safety and enjoyment of all Guests visiting Walt Disney World. The
stroller policy was one of these updates just a few years ago. At this time, wagons and/or stroller wagons of any kind are not permitted at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Strollers, including double strollers, must fit within the dimensions of 31” (79cm) wide and 52” (132cm) long or smaller. The good news most strollers actually fit into these new guidelines. If you have a stroller that does not or a stroller wagon, don't go out and buy anything you can rent a stroller at any of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, water parks or at Disney Springs.
Renting a stroller at Walt Disney World costs $15.00 a day for a single stroller and $31.00 a day for a double stroller. You can save a little bit of money and time each day at the theme parks by renting for the length of your stay. On your first rental, you'll prepay for the length of your stay bringing the price down to $13.00 a day for a single and $27.00 a day for a double. Time is the real saver here though because after the initial payment, you'll just show your receipt to the Cast Member handing out the strollers and off you'll go. It's so quick and convenient. When my daughter was little, I used to really enjoy renting a stroller at Walt Disney World. They are made out of a hard-type plastic which makes it easy to wipe out in case of spills. There's a sunshade to protect little ones from the Florida sun, cup holders for drinks and a small storage basket for all of those souvenirs. Because all of the strollers do look alike, I recommend bringing something from home to make yours more recognizable when it is parked in the sea of strollers. I usually would bring a bright-colored bandanna to tie on the handlebar but anything will work.
David, I hope this helps plan what you'll need to bring along to your next Walt Disney World vacation. If you have any other questions,
stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have a fantastic day!
