Hey, howdy, hey, Zach, and welcome to
planDisney. I am so glad you asked this question because just six weeks ago we flexed this card benefit to score a table at
Yak & Yeti Restaurant in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Yak & Yet Restaurant has been a staple for us since 2010. My kids are picky eaters and the flavors were just too much until the chef agreed to serve plain white rice and pan-seared tofu to my boys. Needless to say, we are huge fans. Yes, Landry's Card holders may still request priority seating but there is a catch. If there are lots of Landy's cardholders requesting priority seating you may find yourself questioning whether you actually have priority. We have been fortunate to be seated within 20 minutes almost every time. The exception was between Christmas and New Year's Day when the theme park was packed like a herd of wildebeest and we had to wait 60 minutes. This has not discouraged us though. Our preference is to try and make
Advance Dining Reservations (beginning 60 days in advance of your visit) first and if unsuccessful then use our Landry's card.
planDisney ProTip: I suggest if you want priority seating without a reservation and a short wait using your Landry's card, then try to go between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. for lunch and 4:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. for dinner.
Zach,
let me know if you have any further questions.
Enjoy making many Magical memories.
