Hi Shari Alexa,
Welcome to planDisney!
The good news is that you can still email the
Special Dietary Requests Team. They simply ask that you contact them
no sooner than 14 days prior to your visit. One of my daughters has four significant food allergies. We have eaten at
Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant and they have been able to accommodate her food allergies.
If you have not yet done so, make an
advanced dining reservation. When making that reservation, indicate dietary requests. Your specific dietary request is not a current option, so indicate "other" when making a selection. When you get to the restaurant, speak with the cast member and the chef if possible. My daughter typically speaks with the chef and they talk through her allergies. They will note what she can eat from the menu or what they may be able to offer that is not on the menu.
We have been so grateful for the ways cast members have taken care of our daughter's food allergies. She has always been able to find something to eat and the food is always delightful. It sounds like you have already taken a look at the restaurant's menu. If not, here is the
lunch menu and here is the
dinner menu.
Shari Alexa, send the email to the Special Dietary Requests Team right away, make sure you have an advanced dining reservation, and then be sure to speak with the cast member who serves you as soon as you get to the restaurant. I do have one last tip - if you have more than a day to visit, consider stopping by the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Presented by AdventHealth. It's a gorgeous way to celebrate the season!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
