How do you get from Yacht Club Resort to visit the Fort Wilderness Resort?

Hey Howdy Hey Nehemiah and welcome to planDisney!

I really love spending some downtime resort hopping when I am not in the parks. So many really great places to eat, snacks to try, resorts to see and experience and a great way to scout out a resort for your next trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Another great perk to staying at any Disney Resort Collection hotel is being transported around the resort by Disney transportation. A relaxing way to experience the resort!

With your upcoming stay at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, which I absolutely LOVE by the way, you will have the opportunity to try out a few different options when it comes to Disney transportation. Since there is no direct route from one resort to another, in most cases, you will have to hop on Disney transportation to a Theme Park and then catch the connecting option to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. From the Yacht Club, the easiest way would be to either walk to EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios and catch a bus to Fort Wilderness. I would highly recommend a slightly different approach though. If you have a little extra time and don't mind the long way around, I would take the route to Fort Wilderness by bus, but on the way back, maybe take water transportation to Magic Kingdom. If you time it right to will be able to see Disney Enchantment from the water or even better, right in front of Magic Kingdom park no ticket needed!

Either way, it sounds like you will have an unforgettable time staying at the Yacht Club and visiting Fort Wilderness. I hope you have fun with your continued planning and if you have any other questions let us know, we love talking about all things Disney!

    Happy Planning,
