Is the Yacht Club resort inside a park - or can you access it without a park ticket?

    Hi Patricia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney's Yacht Club Resort is not located inside a theme park so you will not require any type of ticket to visit there.  It is home to one of my favourite restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort - Yachtsman Steakhouse, and I highly recommend dining there.  This hotel is also located in a really great position, within easy walking distance of Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's BoardWalk.  You also have an easy walk to Epcot (the International Gateway entrance, where there is a Disney Skyliner station with links to Disneys Hollywood Studios, and four other Disney Resort hotels - Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Riviera Resort, scheduled to open on 16th December).  You can also walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios, or take a leisurely boat ride in a FriendShip boat.  With so much choice of nearby hotels, restaurants and entertainment, and its gorgeous Yacht Club theming, if you choose to make a reservation to stay there you can also enjoy one of the best pools in the whole Resort - Stormalong Bay.   It's worth noting that none of the Disney Resort hotels are located within any of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation.
