Hi ya! A little advice please... we are staying at POFQ for our Honeymoon in May and where wondering as we have paid for a King Room but wondered whether it was still worth requesting a corner rm for more space or if these are bigger than a standard room?

At the moderate WDW resorts, including Port Orleans French Quarter (POFQ), I really enjoy having a corner room.

The square footage of the rooms are all the same at 314 sq. ft., however many corner rooms have two windows. The two windows make the room feel much bigger and I like the natural light.

When making your request, be sure to indicate that you are looking for a room with two windows. I once had my request met at Port Orleans French Quarter, however we were given a corner room with only one window. It was my mistake for not being more specific.

Rooms at POFQ are being refurbished and the pictures of the rooms that are completed look very nice! The renovation is likely to be completed prior to your vacation dates.

Have your requests noted on your reservation. I would also recommend noting that you are on your  honeymoon!

Wishing you a wonderful vacation. We have fond memories of our own honeymoon at Walt Disney World!
