Hi Anita,
Holidays at Walt Disney World are so magical. December is my favorite time of the year to visit, and the whole Resort is dressed up to celebrate.
Sounds like you have most of your plans done, including spending some time with Mickey and his friends, when they celebrate the season in
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. How exciting! Another event I highly recommend you is
Candlelight Processional, where an angelic choir joins an amazing orchestra and together help a celebrity narrator retell the story of Christmas. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
It is a busy time of the year, and many Guests already made their advanced dining reservations, since they can be made 180 days in advance. But don't worry. Many of them are still adjusting their plans, and there will be last minute cancelations, up to a couple of days before, in order to avoid penalties. Keep checking the
Walt Disney World restaurants and reservations page and I'm sure you'll find something good for you.
One last tip: there are some amazing options just a hop and skip away from Magic Kingdom Park. One of my favorite character meals is
Chef Mickey's, located at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Just a short walk from the main entrance, or a quick monorail ride. Happy planning!
Ricardo.
