Our 1st Xmas Disney trip in a few days yea! We want to tour the FWCamp, FWL, GF and end at Polyn. incorporating monorail ride at night. What route would you suggest if we are coming from AK? Was thinking bus to FWCamp, boat to Cont, mrail. to other resorts?

    Hi Sheila,

I'm so glad you will be setting aside time during your upcoming holiday vacation to explore the gorgeous decorations at the Walt Disney World resorts.  It will be well worth your time and effort!

Here's the route I would recommend:

Take a Magic Kingdom-bound bus from your resort to the Magic Kingdom.  Then transfer to a boat headed to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.  You can ride the resort's interior bus system to see the amazing decorations guests display in December.

After you've made the circuit through Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, return to the dock and take a short boat ride over to Disney's Wilderness Resort.  This is my favorite resort!   The Christmas decorations here are rustic and inspiring.  Just wait until you see the large tree in the main lobby.

After exploring Disney's Wilderness Lodge, hop on another short boat ride to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  You can explore the decorations here and then grab the monorail on the fourth floor to Disney's Polynesian and Grand Floridian Resorts.  Don't leave the Grand Floridian until you explore the life-size gingerbread house.  It's amazing!

Then you can grab a boat or monorail back to the Magic Kingdom where you can board a bus back to your home resort.

Have a truly magical visit to Walt Disney World this December!
