Is it because Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista isn't a Disney resort so I can't link it in the app?

    Hiya Tsz Wai,
Welcome to planDisney! I just got home from visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth and cannot wait to go back! This was one of the first trips in a while where I just took it easy and didn’t overplan, and I loved it. I’m not sure what your itinerary looks like, but I highly recommend setting aside time to go with the flow. You never know what characters you will see walking around (we randomly found Bruno) or what fun experience you will have when you are just being in the moment.

One thing that can help you create more space for unscheduled magic is taking advantage of Early Theme Park entry, so let’s see about getting your reservation linked to My Disney Experience. To link your Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista reservation, you first need to log into your My Disney Experience account. You can do this on the mobile app but it may be easier to do it on the website. For the website, once logged in, click the Resort Hotel icon (it’s the second one under Tsz Wai’s Plans and Tickets). You will see an option to “Link a Reservation.” Select it and enter the confirmation number and last name associated with the reservation. Follow the remaining on-screen instructions, and that should do the trick. You will follow similar instructions for the mobile app. If you are still experiencing an error, you could have the incorrect confirmation number. If you made your reservation through a third-party site, they may not have provided the correct number that will enable you to link your reservation. In this case, you can contact the hotel directly for the correct number or see if it is on your confirmation email.

I hope this was helpful, Tsz Wai. I’ll send pixie dust so everything links correctly, and you can enjoy your early entry benefits. Before I let you go, I wanted to share my tip for early entry. Prioritize a few key attractions that you want to do, and try not to have too many. Thirty minutes go by quicker than you think! I’ve found that I will either prioritize a popular attraction that I don’t have multi-pass selection for, or I take advantage of the nearly empty park and get pictures of my kids without strangers being in the shot. Please come back and see us if you need anything else!

    Happy Planning,
