Happiest Greetings on Earth, Chanmi! I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney and thank you for sharing this question with us. Cue the confetti because your visit to Disneyland Resort is coming up so soon! I'm very excited for you to experience all the magic awaiting you there!
When it comes to reviewing the schedule of fireworks and other nighttime spectaculars, I have a great recommendation for you! I love using the
Hours and Events Calendar on the official Disneyland Resort website because you can view a single day or up to 5-days at a time, and it will display important times such as operating hours, Park Hopper hours, scheduled parade and firework showtimes, and more! Currently, I see the same thing you do - with no fireworks spectaculars scheduled on the May 3rd date you mentioned. I'm sorry if this is disappointing news!
If I can make a suggestion, I'd love to also recommend making time to watch
World of Color - ONE, a nighttime spectacular with lasers, pyrotechnics, and water projections across Paradise Bay in Disney California Adventure Park. While it does not feature traditional fireworks, it is a beautiful display of Disney storytelling that is not to be missed! I hope you enjoy it as much as my family and I do. I highly recommend using the
virtual queue option to access the reserved viewing area. You can do this through the official Disneyland mobile app beginning at 12:00 PM each day that it is offered (subject to availability).
Chanmi, entertainment schedules are always subject to change, so I always like to encourage Guests to check those showtimes in the days leading up to their visit. You never know when a new showtime might get added, so I'll keep my fingers crossed you get a little extra pixie dust during your visit!
If we can help with anything else in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out to
planDisney again. We'd love to help you maximize the magic!
Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
Tishra
