Kelly Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have wristbands from around 2015 and cards from around 2003-8. How do I transfer the tickets from those devices to the Disney app? They are all park, no expiration date tickets.

Ahoy there Kelly, and welcome aboard planDisney!

Shiver me timbers! It sounds like you found some buried treasure that would make Captain Jack Sparrow jealous. I'd be happy to help you figure out how to unlock that chest and put your findings to good use.

First, let's tackle the MagicBands; the tickets associated with these might already be in your My Disney Experience account. Open your My Disney Experience mobile app, and click on the three parallel lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen to bring up the welcome menu. Next, tap "Tickets and Passes" and then the + sign in the top right corner. From here, select "Link Tickets & Passes." Do you see any tickets listed here? If not, hakuna matata (no worries), we can keep going. Click "Link Tickets & Passes" again, but select "Tap" under the Link to Account heading. Touch the Mickey Mouse head on your MagicBand to your mobile device to see if it will link. If it won't, go back, select Type ID, and enter the alphanumeric code on the underside of your MagicBand. If you continue to encounter glitches, call the number for "My Past Walt Disney World Visit."

Now let's work on linking the tickets you purchased back when Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl first sailed into theaters. Start with those same three parallel lines and the "Tickets and Passes" selection again. At this point, open the camera and scan the barcode on the paper or plastic ticket media you have or click "Type ID" to input the alphanumeric code on the back of your tickets. If that doesn't work, your ticket media is likely incompatible with the new system, and you'll need to call to enlist Cast Member help. If your tickets were anything other than standard Magic Your Way, you might have to wait until you are in Walt Disney World and stop by Guest Relations or the Disney Ticket Center in Disney Springs to link them. I had to do this recently with Florida Resident ticket vouchers my grandparents purchased in 2008. Once your tickets are linked, you'll need to make theme park reservations on the web version of My Disney Experience.

I hope everything works out for you, Kelly. Best wishes for a memorable vacation next month, and if there's anything else we at planDisney can do to make it even more magical, stop by and see us again.
