Hello, Wow what a helpful site:) We'll be going to WDW in Oct'11. We will be staying at our timeshare (HolidayInn Orange Lake Resorts) What can we expect on travel time?? Bus or Taxi or drive our own car to Parks? What's the traffic like around that area??

    Hi there Matt!

I've heard some great things about Orange Lake Resort! The property is on the western corridor side of Walt Disney World and is not as populated as the Downtown Disney side so major traffic isn't too much of a concern. I would definitely drive my own car to the parks unless the resort offers a shuttle service. A Shuttle bus will lower your total cost for parking fees but may not give you the flexibility that driving your own car does. I personally would try not to use taxis unless needed. I HAD to take one from Wilderness Lodge to Animal Kingdom and the fee was $25 one way. So the Parking fees are much cheaper... I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have more questions, we are always here to help! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
