    Is it worthwhile to visit the water parks in February? Which one will be open in February 2011?

    Hi Tanya,

    The Weather Channel shows the average February temperature for Orlando as a high of 74 and a low of 51. Being from New England, my kids would consider that to be warm and would want to swim. The pools are all heated year-round to a temperature of 82 degrees. However, last year I was in Disney World in February and I was freezing. I turned the heat on in my Resort room at night and wore multiple layers during the day. Since the weather can be so unpredictable, you'll pretty much need to wait and see how warm it is when you are there.

    Typhoon Lagoon, which is a fantastic Water Park, will be your only option. Blizzard Beach is currently scheduled to be closed for refurbishment from January 16 to March 27, 2011.
