Is it worth it to stay at 2 different disney resorts? Like if we spent 2 nights at the animal lodge and 2 nights at the art of animation for the cars room? Because I really want to see a zebra from the balcony and my son loves cars and the pool looks bette

Hey there, Alana, and welcome to planDisney! From one Georgia girl to another, I'm so happy you're here with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit! You've come to the right place for vacation planning advice and information!

Alana, in my opinion, it can be worth it to stay at two different Disney Resorts Collection hotels during your visit. You'll get to enjoy the immersive, yet completely different, theming, transportation options, and amenities of two Resorts, and Bell Services will even transfer your luggage for you while you enjoy your time at the Most Magical Place on Earth! The two Resorts you're considering are both fabulous options, so let's dig a little deeper into the benefits of what we like to call a "split stay."

Disney's Art of Animation Resort makes you feel like you're part of the story, and if your son is into Cars, then life could be a dream during a stay here! Life-size versions of Cars characters are so much fun for little ones to see and touch. The Big Blue Pool at this Resort is the largest in all of Walt Disney World Resort, but Cozy Cone Pool might be the perfect place for you and your son to wind down! A bonus of this Resort is the proximity to the Disney Skyliner, which is a great way to get around Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite Disney Resorts Collection hotels for many reasons. The moment you walk into the lobby, the grandeur and handsome decor will take your breath away. Step just outside, and you'll be treated to incredible views of the Savanna, where you'll likely spot zebras, giraffes, and other animals as they graze. One of my most cherished Disney memories here is enjoying my morning coffee on my balcony while watching the sun rise over the Savanna. It's an experience unlike anything else. A note about the pool situation here: not only can you enjoy the fantastic pool at Jambo House (the main building), you can walk or take the shuttle next door to the pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas: Kidani Village. Each is gorgeous and so much fun for Guests of all ages!

Alana, I hope this is helpful as you consider which Disney Resorts Collection hotel (or hotels!) to call "home" during your upcoming vacation. Please stop back by with any other questions you have - you have a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
