Hi Danielle!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You have so much to look forward to during your first voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line! I remember the feeling I had the moment I saw the Lobby Atrium on my first high-seas adventure with Captain Mickey. I was in awe of how beautiful and grand it was. Multiple cruises later, I still get that same feeling when I see the Lobby Atrium for the first time during each voyage.
My family and I love sailing as Concierge Guests aboard Disney Cruises! You make some excellent points as to why you're thinking about upgrading your stateroom category. Because this will be your inaugural sailing, as a non-Concierge Guest your
advance booking window would open 75 days prior to your cruise. If you had a Concierge-level stateroom, you would be able to inform the Concierge Team what your desired preferences are for onboard activities and Port Adventures 125 days prior to your cruise, and they will make every effort to reserve the bookings on your behalf when the 120-day booking window opens! The above and beyond customer service begins even before setting sail! If you're worried about some of the most popular onboard activities and/or excursions being sold out, sailing as a Concierge Guest would definitely give you the best opportunity to book them.
Along with being able to board the ship as soon as they begin the boarding process, if you decide to sail as a Concierge Guest, you'll love the upgraded amenities found inside Concierge-level staterooms, as well. No matter which stateroom category you choose, you're going to have an amazing time sailing on Disney Cruise Line. With that being said, I feel you won't regret upgrading your stateroom to a Concierge-level!
I'm so excited for your upcoming inaugural voyage! If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to stop back and visit us again!
