Is it worth it to get a Fast Pass+ for the Electrical Parade? We will be traveling with our 20 month old daughter, and we'd love to be close enough for her to really see everything. How early do they open the FP+ area for the parades? Thanks!

    Hi Christi,

Hooray for a Walt Disney World Vacation! My youngest was slightly older for her first vacation to the Walt Disney World Resorts and it is such a magical age.

FastPass+ allows guests to book up to three attractions, shows, parades or character experience in one park per day. Guests staying on property can book 60 days in advance and guest off property can book 30 days in advance. This is really a nice way to get those must see attractions and experiences.

I am not a fan of booking a FastPass+ for parades. My feeling is there are lots of good places to see a parade, and depending on when you travel, you maybe able to walk right up to a spot. During our recent vacation over the Christmas break, we walked right up to a spot for the afternoon parade and it was crowded. Try viewing in Frontierland or Liberty Square.

The seating area opens up about 45 minutes prior to the start and will close about 15 minutes prior to start.

    Wishing you a magical day!
