Is it worth eating at Ohana at 9:15 at night? We want the kids to have fun with the activities, ages 8 and 11.

    Hi Becky,

The answer to your question really depends on your children's normal schedules.  If they are the early-to-bed type of kids, they might not fully enjoy all the festivities at 'Ohana.  Of course, the adrenaline rush that keeps kids up past their bedtimes at Walt Disney World may kick in and then they'd have a fabulous time.  You will be dining at a lovely time of evening.  Depending on what time Wishes will be performed that evening, you might end up with a spectacular view.  Be sure to ask your host or hostess for a window seat.

My advice to you would be to keep your current dining reservation at 'Ohana, but call (407) WDW-DINE periodically to see if anything earlier has opened up.  Be sure to call right before you leave for your vacation and even the day before your reservation as some people cancel reservations at the last minute.  My guess is that your kids would enjoy the experience earlier in the evening, but if you have two "night owls," then a 9:15 pm meal would be just fine.

Wishing you and your family a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
