We have 1500$ worth of disney gift cards for spending Does Basin and any other store Down town disney accept them? If not can I have things charged to the room that's not disney owned and pay it off w/ the gift cards so my Debit card on file is not charged

Hello, Bianca! One of the great things about the Disney Gift Cards is that you can use them for so many things on property. I took some Disney Gift Cards down on my trip in May and was able to use them for shopping in the parks and at Downtown Disney, as well as for food and tips. I called Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and spoke with Cast Member Carol Anne about using the Disney Gift Card for Basin White. She informed me that all of the stores located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa accept the Disney Gift Card. I will be staying there this December and plan on stocking up on bath bombs! I also used my Disney Gift Cards at Walt Disney World Resort Hotel lounges and restaurants.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but I think you mentioned that your resort hotel room is not Disney owned? If so, then I would definitely double-check to see if your hotel accepts the Disney Gift Card as payment before you charge it to the room. Since the Disney Gift Cards are accepted on Walt Disney World Property you shouldn't have to charge any purchases to your room as long as you use the gift cards.

If you need anything else, we will be happy to help in any way that we can. Have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
