Hi there! We have been worried about our hotel reservation (kid with special need) inside WDW, and we are considering canceling it and staying outside of the park. If we a cel the hotel, do we lose all our food reservations too?? Thanks!

    Hi, Pamela!

Not to worry. Your Walt Disney Resort Reservations are completely separate from your Advanced Dining Reservations, so cancelling one will have no effect on the others. No worries.

That being said, I would suggest that you try to remain on property, as you'll save yourselves the struggles of having to commute from an off-property resort twice a day  (a significant time commitment there.) Depending on your needs, there are many rooms within the WDW Resorts which accommodate Guests with special needs. Before you decide to change locations, read through this helpful post on Rooms for Guests with Disabilities. I don't know of any other resorts which help make Guests of every sort feel as comfortable as those in Walt Disney World.

Send more questions as you think of them, Pamela; I'd love to help!
