Hello Steven,
Thanks for stopping in to see us here at planDisney!
It's great to hear you're heading to the Walt Disney World Resort, and it's even more fun to hear you're playing the pixie-dusting planner role. Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort and enjoying the theme parks with your own groups of Mouseketeers is a great way to make your whole vacation more magical.
The best way to make, manage, and share plans with groups is to use the
Family & Friends features in your
My Disney Experience account online and in the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
You can begin by going to your
"My Family & Friends List." You will likely see the names of the Guests in your travel party with whom you already have plans. What you'll want to do next is to add Guests to your list.
You'll see an "Add a Guest" link at the bottom of the screen. This feature lets you add a Guest to your "My Family & Friends List" in a few different ways. You'll see an option to "Find through my connected Guests," "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation," and "I'll enter their name and age."
Here's a quick overview of the options.
You could use the "connected Guests" option to add Guests who are on the Family & Friends List of someone with whom you're already connected.
If the Guests you're wanting to add have a Resort hotel reservation, you can enter that information to look up their travel party and add them to your list.
The option to "enter their name and age" lets you invite someone to join your list. You'll be prompted to enter their name and age, and you'll see an option to "Invite this Guest to connect." When you select that option, you'll be prompted to enter their email address. They will receive an email with a subject like "You have a Family & Friends invitation to join in on Walt Disney World vacation planning" with a button to "Accept" or "Decline." You'll notice that the status of their family & Friends List connection will be
"pending" until they
accept the email invitation.
One quick tip I'll offer is that the Guests you're looking to add would want to have their permission settings set to
"View All Activities" in order for everyone who's connected to view all activities and not simply shared activities.
Steven, hopefully this gets you started with building out your Family & Friends List. If you find you'd like some additional help, you can contact the Walt Disney World Resort Internet Help Desk at (407) 939-4357, or you can contact a helpful Cast Member through the

Enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
