Hi Jeanmarie! There's so much to see and do at Walt Disney World that planning a trip can seem like a daunting task, but we're here to help you!
The first step is to decide where to stay. Disney has hotels for every price range, and resort guests receive special
perks for staying on-site, such as extra hours in the parks and free
transportation from the airport and around WDW. You can browse the various
hotels
here to find a theme and a price range that fits your family. When you book your resort, you can choose to purchase a package that includes park tickets and a dining plan. Don't forget to check the
Special Offers page to see if you can find a great deal for your trip!
Next, take a look at the park calendars by clicking
here (click each
park and then click "calendar") to determine the operating hours during your visit, as well as the times of any parades or shows you'd like to
see and the schedule of Extra Magic Hours for resort guests. Use that
information to decide which park(s) you'd like to visit each day.
Then the really fun part begins -- planning your dining! You can browse the various
Disney restaurants
here, and make reservations for your meals online or by
calling 407-WDW-DINE. Be sure to book a meal with the characters!
Visitors with special needs can request a Guest Assistance Card. Disney Mom Tanya discussed using it for a child with autism
here.
Hope this helps you get started! Come visit us again if you have more questions!
