Hey there, Amy and welcome back to planDisney.
Amy, I'm always thrilled when I can help a fellow resident of the Keystone state with their Magical vacation planning. And... as a Mom who took both of my boys when they were each 1-year old, I appreciate this question. One of my favorite things about the Walt Disney World Resort is that they are so many attractions and shows that are for the whole family!
Before I share some family favorites, let me first direct you to
THIS PAGE that lists every attraction. You can filter by height and when you select "Any Height," you'll find all options that your entire family can enjoy.
Now, let me offer up some suggestions that had my kids grinning from ear to ear...
At
Disney's Hollywood Studios, my number one recommendation is
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. Starring the main mouse himself, this is an adorable adventure. If either of your kids like the movie, Cars, don't miss
Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy. For little ones who love Vampirina or other Disney Junior Pals, make sure to check the times and stop by
Disney Junior Play and Dance! (This is also perfect for getting some wiggles out!)
Over at Magic Kingdom Park, one of my favorite attractions for little ones is
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. This ride through the Hundred Acre Wood is a classic! If you have fans of Beauty & the Beast, make sure to visit
Enchanted Tales with Belle. This is an interactive story come to life with a Disney Princess.
Peter Pan's Flight was another favorite in my house when my kids were younger. Amy, the
Walt Disney World Railroad has now reopened, welcoming guests and the perfect way to not only transverse the park, but doubles as a family-friendly attraction.
Amy, while I could offer even more ideas, I hope this gets you started in your planning adventure. If any adults in your party want to experience something with a height restriction, take a few minutes and read all about the Rider Switch option
HERE.
I'll be wishing on a star that you have a pixie-dusted visit and make sure to soak in all of the smiles and gasps from your children as they experience the Magic of Walt Disney World.
