Is the world showcase considered to be inside Epcot park?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mary!

This is a great question, as many Guests like to make Advanced Dining Reservations throughout Walt Disney World parks and resorts, so knowing which locations are within a park, requiring a Theme Park Ticket, is important.

Take a look at EPCOT's page, then scroll to the bottom where you'll see the park map. There are two distinct areas within EPCOT: one is Future World, where you'll find exciting attractions, shopping, and dining venues just steps from the park's main entrance. If you look below that area on the map, you'll see World Showcase, one of my absolute favorite areas in all of Walt Disney World! World Showcase includes 11 countries set beautifully alongside World Showcase Lagoon, each featuring unique shopping and dining locations, as well some spectacular attractions and several of the EPCOT Character Meet and Greets.

World Showcase also features a second, smaller entrance to EPCOT--I like to refer to it as the back door--at International Gateway. Looking at the map, you'll see this entrance at the walkway between the United Kingdom Pavilion and the France Pavilion. If you are staying in one the gorgeous Disney's BoardWalk Resort hotels, or are entering EPCOT from a great dining reservation there, this will be a super-convenient way for you to enter the beauty of  EPCOT's World Showcase.

Happy planning, Mary! If you have any additional questions as you plan your visit, be sure to send them our way. We love to help!
