We are going to the World in May 2011 for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Which hotel is better. Caribbean or Riverside? No children will be with us. Just us. Also you guys are great. Love the site.!!

Thanks for your kind words about the site!

As far as the two resorts you mentioned, it's tough to say that one is better than the other.  There are, however, certain amenities available that may make one resort stand out as a better choice for a romantic anniversary trip.  My personal pick would be Port Orleans Riverside.  Here's why:

-The grounds at Port Orleans Riverside are absolutely gorgeous!  An evening stroll along the water's edge of the Sassagoula River, while admiring the foliage, could prove to be very romantic.
    - There is a fun lounge at Port Orleans Riverside that serves as a great spot to stop in for a drink at the close of a busy day in the parks.
    - You and your hubby may enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through the Port Orleans Riverside resort.  Rides can be reserved by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.
    - The walk to Port Orleans French Quarter is a pleasant one.  Heading over to the French Quarter for some yummy beignets is a great way to start a leisurely morning outside of the parks.

The Caribbean Beach Resort certainly has its own charm and selling points.  That said, if my husband and I had the chance to escape for a special anniversary trip, I'd definitely choose Port Orleans Riverside over the Caribbean Beach.  Good luck with your decision!
