Hi Mary!
Fall is one of the most festive times of the year to be at the Disneyland Resort, with the parks aglow with Halloween delights! From the giant Mickey pumpkin on Main Street to the limited-time sweet treats and the nighttime spectaculars, you are in for an unforgettable visit. With so much on the Entertainment Schedule celebrating not only Disneyland's 70th Anniversary but the happy haunts of Halloweeen Time, planning is a great way to make the most of your visit. Let's take a look at whether World of Color will be lighting up the night at California Adventure during your visit later this week!
The
Entertainment Schedule is released about six weeks ahead of time and is a good guide as to the offerings for your visit, barring any weather-related changes or cancellations. Taking a peek myself, it looks like
World of Color Happiness! is scheduled to perform on Wednesday, October 15th, but not Tuesday, October 14th. I double checked, and there is an
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party on October 14th, which would explain why there is no World of Color Happiness! scheduled for that evening.
The Oogie Boogie Bash is a special ticketed event. They are currently sold out, but just so you have the information on how it may impact your park planning, the event begins at 6:00 PM, which means regular day Guests will be gently nudged towards the exit at that time. If you have added Park Hopping to your tickets, you can simply bounce over to Disneyland Park to enjoy the rest of your park day. With another quick peek at the Entertainment Schedule, I can see that the
Paint the Night Parade is scheduled to perform on October 14th, and is a must-see in my book! Additionally, you can catch the
Halloween Screams projection show on Sleeping Beauty Castle for a little taste of the happy haunts of Halloween Time! If you time it just right, you can see Paint the Night at 8:30 PM and then fill Main Street to catch Halloween Screams. The projections run the length of Main Street, so you will be fully immersed in this frighteningly fun show!
Mary, I sure hope this has been helpful! You can always see what shows are performing in the Disneyland App. Head to the "Tip Board" to not only see attraction wait times, but also entertainment offerings, all in one place!
I'm wishing you an unforgettable visit! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
