World of Color dining package. Not only will you enjoy a delicious meal, but you'll also receive a voucher for a premium viewing spot for this nighttime spectacular.
The timing of your trip is great, Jena, since
a new World of Color show will debut at California Adventure on May 16, 2025! It will bring a new twist to the beloved water and projection show, hosted by the emotions from Inside Out and Inside Out 2. Special songs will even debut as part of the show.
Because the show is transitioning in mid-May, it is possible that the
World of Color dining packages may be updated, too. I see that the
World of Color Dessert Party doesn't currently have reservations available after May 15. World of Color dining packages only appear to be available right now for
Magic Key terrace, which is exclusive to Magic Key Holders. I don't currently see options for Storytellers Cafe or Wine Country Trattoria. New dining opportunities may be released anytime between 60 days and 1 day out, so my advice is to keep checking back.
You may have another option to secure a great spot to view the show without a dining package. World of Color - ONE offers a
virtual queue for preferred viewing. Eligible Guests can join at noon on the Disneyland mobile app, subject to availability. Ahead of your visit, check the website to see if something similar will be offered for World of Color Happiness!
Jena, I have another idea to float by you. Have you ever seen the Paint the Night parade? It's my favorite nighttime spectacular, and it's returning to Disneyland as part of the 70th Anniversary Celebration. A
dining package will also be available for this show, similarly pairing a meal with premium viewing of the show. This is another one you'd want to keep checking back for.
If you want to book something now, consider a
dining package for Fantasmic! This is another iconic show, and you have a few dining options that come with a reserved viewing location. I see multiple openings currently available for May 16 and 17. You can always book this so you have a confirmed option, and cancel it if you see openings for another package that you are more interested in as your trip approaches. Just make sure to
cancel well in advance if you don't plan on using your reservation.
During your visit, plan to see Mickey, Minnie, and their pals in new colorful outfits that commemorate
70 years of magic at the Disneyland Resort. There will also be festive decor, exclusive merchandise, a new cavalcade, additions to select attractions, and more. You'll be there around the celebration's kickoff – I'm sure many core memories will be made.
