Grace from OH Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

The "World of Color Dining Package" says it is temporarily unavailable. My trip is April 24-27, and I know that World of Color restarts on April 22. Will the dining package be available during my trip and when will it be available to book?

    Hi Grace!

Thank you for sending your Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR! I'm happy to be your planEAR today.

Hot Dog! You sure did time your visit to Mickey's house perfectly, Grace. Not only will you see the return of World of Color, but you'll also be in the parks as they ignite the night with the return of the Disneyland Forever fireworks in Disneyland Park as well as my personal favorite The Main Street Electrical Parade. In fact, hEARs the entertainment schedule for the week you're in town!

There are still several activities and experiences that are slowly making their return to the pre-pandemic states that we knew prior to 2020. At the current time, we haven't hEARd anything about if or when dessert parties and dining packages for these nighttime shows will return. Your best bet will be to check the Disney Parks Blog for the newest news straight from Mickey himself. You can even follow them across all of your social media feeds so you'll never miss an update!

While these offerings are unavailable for booking right now, there might be a few things you can do:

~Try to get a reservation at Lamplight Lounge or Lamplight Lounge Boardwalk Dining to be seated around an hour before World of Color starts. This should time the end of your meal to the start of the show.

~Where are you staying? It might be possible to upgrade to a Theme Park View or Club Level room at either Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel or Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa so you can have the best seats in the house, err, hotel.

~We don't have confirmation of this yet either, but the reserved seating areas might be up for grabs as Lightning Lane selections through the brand new Disney Genie+ add-on service. Make sure that your Disneyland Mobile App is up to date, and while you're in the parks keep checking the "View My Genie Day and Tip Board" button. I have a feeling that it's going to be a popular choice if available, so be sure to reserve it early. (Again, if it's available.)

I'm so sorry that this wasn't a definitive answer that you were sEARching for, Grace. But hopefully we'll all know something soon. One thing I do know is that Mickey and his pals can't wait to see you and your crew! Be sure to check out the official planDisney Instagram account for even more tips and tricks.
