For World of Color Dessert Party reservations, do I include a 2-year-old in my reservation group size like I would for a character breakfast? Or do I only include the paying members of my party? Thanks!

Hey there Bryan!  How exciting that you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort in just a few short days!

I love that you're bringing your little Mouseketeers for your magical trip!  I spoke with a helpful Cast Member, and yes, you can include your 2-year-old in your dining reservation for the World of Color Dessert Party.  When you make your dining reservation, it will ask you to confirm the number of adults, children ages 3 to 9, and infants ages 0-2.  If you confirm a party of 4 with 2 adults, 1 child ages 3 to 9, and 1 infant, you will only be charged for the three Guests ages 3 and above.  The infant in your party is free of charge, provided they are seated on the lap of one of the adults.

We splurged on this wonderful experience during our last trip, and we absolutely loved it.  After a long day in the parks, it was so nice to be able to rest our feet and enjoy the show with a great view!  The show will begin around 45 minutes after your reservation time, so you have plenty of time to relax and enjoy your delicious treats.  My advice is to not fill up too much during your dinner so you have a chance to sample a little bit of everything!  I also loved that there were some savory items included, it was such a nice balance to all of the sweeter desserts.

I know that late nights aren't always in the cards when you have younger kids, so another great option would be to explore joining the virtual queue to gain access to a designated viewing area to enjoy World of Color Happiness!  It will not include seating, and you will be standing during the show, but you do not have to prepay for the experience like you do for the World of Color Dessert Party.  We all know that little ones can be unpredictable, so this could be a nice option for your family.

I'm wishing you and your family the happiest visit, Bryan!  If we can help with any other questions for your vacation, don't hesitate to come back and ask!

    Have a magical day,
    Melissa
