Hiya Emily!
Welcome to planDisney! I am so very excited that you found us. And I am even more excited to hear that you and your daughter are planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. There is nothing better than experiencing Walt Disney World with your Ohana. Let's start planning and get this adventure started!
"In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun." My gal Mary Poppins nailed it with this quote. Planning a Walt Disney World vacation may initially seem like a huge undertaking. There are so many decisions to make. Which hotel should I choose? How long do I go? What's
Disney Genie?
Hint: It's not a magical blue being, it's your personalized guide to the most magical trip ever. Phew..and we're just getting started. Let's "dig a little deeper" and talk about how all this planning can be a lot of fun for you and your daughter! All you need to get started is your desired travel dates and a budget. I recommend spending time looking through the
Disney Resort Hotel Collection together. Don't forget to check out the amazing and unique pools. They are my family's favorite place to spend the afternoons. After narrowing down your resort choices check out all of the amazing activities offered at all four theme parks. This will help determine which park(s) are a must-do for your travels. You may want to visit a few of them more than once. My family and I love to pick one "must-do" from each category for each park. Attraction, character, snack, meal. It's the best kind of research.
Once you have decided on dates, budget, hotel, and the number of park days you can easily book your magical vacation
online directly through Disney. This process is convenient, user-friendly, and takes very little time. You will also be able to see any
Special Offers available. This may help get that bang for your buck that you are looking for! Then you can create a
My Disney Experience account, giving you access to all your travel plans in one easy-to-use place.
If putting together a magical travel itinerary is not at the top of your "this sounds like fun" list, absolutely work with a travel professional. I have done this on several occasions when my available time account had insufficient funds. We have all been there! Chat with close family and friends to inquire about agencies they may recommend. Be sure to work with an individual or company that has extensive knowledge of the Disney Parks!
Emily, don't forget the best part! We'll be here to help! Drop by anytime for attraction recommendations, must try snacks, and even to inquire about where we love to watch the evening fireworks. Planning Disney is what we do best.
We'll see ya real soon!
