I am working on a two part proposal. 1st is a proposal to my girlfriend 2nd a "proposal/Asking" her daughter to let me adopt her. Any suggestions on how to make it perfect?

Hello, Curtis! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Hearing about your double proposal has me beaming from ear to ear! Proposing at the Disneyland Resort such a charming idea and including your girlfriend's daughter is so wonderful. My first suggestion is that you pop your questions in a location where a PhotoPass photographer is usually stationed. These include most of the iconic places in the parks like at the park entrance, on Main Street, U.S.A., and of course in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. You can also use the Disneyland app to look up PhotoPass locations throughout both parks. Selecting one of these areas will ensure that your magical moment is captured with high resolution photographs that you can look back on for years to come.

My next idea is to also present a piece of jewelry to your daughter-to-be. Since mom will be receiving an engagement ring, the little one might enjoy a charm bracelet or a necklace featuring her favorite Disney character or perhaps a charm of Sleeping Beauty Castle to commemorate this special occasion. Or consider embroidering two pairs of Mickey ears: one that says Bride-to-Be and one that says Step-Daughter-to-Be or something along those lines.

Or if your girlfriend's daughter happens to have a sweet tooth and is old enough to read, you might consider asking your question via cake! You can order a custom celebration cake to be delivered to a table service restaurant in the parks. You can customize your flavors and of course your message. So make a reservation at a table service restaurant and then call (714) 781-3463 to order your cake at least three days in advance (but the earlier the better).

I hope this gives you some ideas. My very best wishes to you and your new family!
