    I am working on planning our honeymoon and have already decided to stay at the GF. I am in the military so I have discounts, but wondering if Platinum MYW package is worth the money spent for everything included and if I'm still eligible with my discounts?

    Hey Erik!

    We honeymooned in Walt Disney World as well.  You and your bride are in for a magical, romantic vacation! 

    One of the best parts about using the Armed Forces Salute to book your Walt Disney World Resort room is you're eligible to purchase the Disney Dining Plan without having to also purchase Magic Your Way ticket packages.  However, the Platinum and Premium Packages do not follow the same rules.  In order to purchase the Platinum or Premium Package, you must include Magic Your Way tickets in your reservation.  This means you would not be able to purchase the special Armed Forces Salute discounted tickets.

    You may want to consider purchasing the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan, which gives you three meals and two snacks per day. I think the Deluxe Plan is the way to go.  You can use the ticket savings and put it towards the recreation, tours, golf, or spa visits you'd want to do.
