Hello! I am working on my family's trip to WDW this coming April- my first trip in almost 10 years, my husband's in over 20 years, and both of my kids first trips. I was wondering what are the "must dos" for Fast Pass+ for ages 2&5?

    Hi Rebecca,

Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah! I can't tell you how excited I am to hear that you and your husband will be returning to the Walt Disney World Resort after being away so long, and especially because it will be your first time visiting with your own children! You'll get to watch the magic come alive through them! Be sure to pick up a "My First Visit" pin for both of your children when you arrive.

You'll love using the FastPass+ service. It will save you so much time, and you'll find you can experience even more Disney fun because of it! Be sure to make your selections 60 days before your arrival if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, or 30 days ahead of time if you're staying elsewhere. And did you know that once you experience your three planned selections, you may use the My Disney Experience app or an in-park kiosk to choose more FastPass+ selections, one at a time, until the parks close?

So which family attractions should you grab a FastPass+ for? At Magic Kingdom Park, some great ones to get would be Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan's Flight, and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. We like to arrive before the park opens and start our day in Fantasyland when the crowds are much lighter, and we schedule our FastPass+ selections to start late morning. Some other attractions I'd definitely recommend getting a FastPass+ for are Frozen Ever After at Epcot, Na'vi River Journey and Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Toy Story Mania at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Of course, Character greeting experiences are also great uses for FastPass+. Don't forget that you may also use Rider Switch if there are more thrilling attractions that your little ones aren't ready for quite yet.

Have an amazing and magical vacation, Rebecca!
